        70% to feature.

At a guess I'd say that he'll be on the bench and he'll get 10 minutes if we're winning.

Yeah but if he'd had a setback as had been stated by Gedo then he wouldn't be winning his fitness race. The way I read it is that he's on schedule and theres no mention of setbacks which is good.

I shall give you credit if you come out of it flying colours.
when we're at home or against anyone (home or away) outside the top 6 i'd play 442. let the opposition worry about us. i'd like to see a team where"
aurelio would play every time he's fit ahead of the fat...err i mean barrel chested italian. the rest of the defense picks itself whilst skertl's out.
a centre midfield of gerrard and either alonso or masch
riera on the left and yossi or kuyt the right.
if torres isn't fit then any two of babel, keane and kuyt upfront. if torres is fit then either keane or kuyt to start alongside him.
babel and el zahr as impact players.

thats pretty much our strongest line up and there is no reason why this formation shouldn't destroy most teams the way chelsea are currently doing.

of course against the top 6 teams i'd play 4231 providing torres is fit.

            our 4231 picks itself also

30% chance he does not play - seems a bit of a risk IMO. Rather he did not come on an do himself more harm.

West Brom will just have to feel his wrath then.

And in fairness I don't think that anyone can argue with that.

I agree that we really need to get at teams win comfortably. The 4-4-2 formation is the best way of doing this and makes the best use of the players that we've got.

Probably is, this season, when we've played the 4-4-2, we've looked very unconvincing...i think the 4-2-3-1 formation is the one that suits our players better, and so far it's had the results...ok, we've won a game we shouldn't have (Portsmouth) but we've lost a game we should (Spurs). The formation works, just like it worked for the last third of the previous season.

                          I don't like Kuyt in a straight 4-4-2

Looks like Gedo was spot on. The atletico fan on RAWK

"Torres won't play. He trained today in the morning and he hasn't had good feelings. Didn't make the 18 selected by Rafa..."

"It was said by a journalist from the spanish TV that is going to show the match here. He said that he was testing himself this morning and hadn't good feelings. Then, he said that he wasn't in the list that Rafa gave with the 18 players selected.

He was the player selected to make the press conference yesterday and Kuyt was in his place because he didn't want to talk about a match he knew he wasn't going to play."

He has been reliable lately alright. If true then it's sad for Torres.

He was right. Shame for Torres but he'll get a chance against them at some point I'm sure.
