He's not playing as a lone striker. Gerrard is playing up there with him. It's not his position though, he should be put back in the hole to link play with the midfield.

The problem is we have three central midfielders who are "too good" to drop, which forces us to go 4-2-3-1. It can work with Torres as the 1, or even Babel, but not Keane.

SG got 20 goals and 20 assists from that position last season so don't be writing off the formation. The problem is the players final ball has been ****. They need to sharpen it up 'cos we've pretty much controlled this game and there is no excuse for being behind.
