Watched the match with my scum-supporting brother-in-law, and to put it mildly, he did not agree with the penalty decision!

He was on on about playing your best players in their best position and Kenny said he is our best on the right, left, centre, and possibly right back too. He took no crap whatsoever and refuted all of THGs crap and stirring.

It is also safe to say Kenny rates Gerrard extremely highly indeed!

There was also a comment about the no7 shirt and his response was "it's better than 12" and it should carry no pressure to the bearer.

I feel for them but it was a pen no matter how Gerrard reacted, Gerrard got to the ball first and the defender clattere into Gerrard after the ball had gone, result is a pen.

The more I see it the more I'm convinced that justice was served. The defender jumps in with no intent other than to take Stevie out. He was never going for the ball cause he turned his back to limit the chance of injury to himself.

Penalty in any language IMO

We were lucky because we were given a very dubious penalty award in the last minute of injury time.

We were unlucky because we quite clearly should have been given a penalty much earlier.

If you look at the whole match then I don't see how the later one outweighs the earlier one.

I'll agree with you there and now I have seen the penalty decision a few times, I would say it wasn't a dive too.
