What's up with the reserves this season?

Rafa said last season he does not care about the results, the purpose of the reseves is to play the same tactics as the first team so if someone needs to move up they know the system straight away.

What a load of nonsense, how come they all arent looking away from the club then? Only recently Nemeth turned down a chance of a loan spell as he thought he might break through.

It seems to me they've had the opposite problem actually. In the reserves game prior to the last CC game, Rafa, or maybe it was Sammy lee, went to watch and Ablett told them they were playing for a place in the CC squad. They all tried too hard and El Zhar aside were pretty crap.

Ablett, pretty much told them they blew it after the game.

And let's face it the way they've been playing only Nemeth and El Zhar really deserve a shot in the first team at the moment. Though I guess Plessis will get a chance, just because, SG, El Jefecito and Xabi could all do with a rest, but he hasn't earnt it on his performances this year. Maybe Xabi will play and Plessis will be on the bench.
