yeah i saw it - was going to post about it - was about four rows in front of me but didn't work out what was said at first - about 25 mins into the first half carragher got the ball in space near us and carried it a few yards, looked at the crowd and shouted something like "i'll ****ing carry it then" or something, and ran off with the ball and everyone cheered

I think a few mins earlier, in a similar position carragher sent it forward and some shouted "****ing carry it!"

Anyone used that as their sig yet lol?

It is ****ing annoying though the way we hoof it out of defence so often, Carra and Hyypia do it all the time, even Agger's been doing it seems completely pointless when you're sending it towards a lone frontman up there and that man is robbie Keane

I think people are quite unfair on Hyypia in this regard. He is actually a very good and shrewd long ball player. It isn't very high percentage but his aim is usually into the channels which means there is a low chance of a counter attack.

Carragher can be a bit annoying with his seemingly aimless hits up field I agree. I still think that two often though he isn't given safe options by the midfield. You would think by now one of them would have worked out that he isn't that great in possession.

At this level we can expect more than just hoof it long, here in Germany, kids are taught to play out of defence to midfield or hold onto the ball, not do a Carra and put ****ing snow on it.

It's funny because there was an interview on the offal and Carra said he thought he was pretty good at passing the ball out from back. I had to laugh. He had a straight face too.
