    ha ha @ Norbert!

What would the owners do should Torres receive a 100mill bid come jan? Lets be fair the city have the clout to do just that.

Course they dont care about the fans but nothing they can do is Torres refuses to move to City. If you said that someone like Barca was going to buy him then I could see it maybe happening under those clowns but not to City.

Very true, but times are a changing, who would have thought that GM could go from the world's biggest car manufacturer to bankrupt in 12 months.

Nothing would suprise me at the moment. And hard nosed businessmen like twit and **** will sell assets before taking a kicking financially.

This story has appeared in the press before with a slightly different slant, just scare-mongering. If the worst came to the worst LFC would never do a Leeds United, we have discussed this on this forum before (particularly as there is always Share LFC waiting in the wings).

Neither did I, but when you look closely at Rogan's last letter to G&H, Share LFC might just have the resources to acquire the club. In theory it hasn't done Barcelona any harm.

Too much politics in this type of set-up. More bad press for teh club and it is destabilising IMO - stick with a single responsible and dedicated owner.

those days are gone now IMO. Owners from this point on will be profit oriented groups or individuals.

especially as we have been performing without him.

but he won't go there so thats that.

You have to think that the club is worth much more as a saleable asset with the players. G&H may well over value the club now but they are unlikely to want to have a worthless asset so if they can't get the loans I suspect they will sell the whole shebang rather than individual players.

We seem to have had this hoohar on an almost monthly basis since G&H took over and so far nothing has come of it and we have invested reasonable heavily in the team.

they haven't saddled the club with huge interest payments - only the smaller loan to cover players and initial stadium costs was in the club's name, the rest, to cover the purchase of the club, was in their own?

The way I see the bank could refuse to lend them the money again and if they can't get it from somewhere else, they'll have to sell and DIC/Sheik will step in and buy at the price they wanted to six months or whatever ago.

There is the danger that while re-financing, they will try to put the whole debt against the club though.. I believe they tried to last time, but were blocked by Parry/Moores?

No lender would accept LFC as security for the whole amount at the moment considering our current and likely future profitability.
