Second string or not the players need to step up if they dont want to bother they can **** off out the club imo. When you are given a chance you take it. Not one of the players on the pitch today that are not the first team look like they can be arsed. Arsenals kids on the other hand played like they wanted it.

I can agree with that it's hard to judge individuals in this game, but for the 2nd half I expect to see some character and tough tackles.

Hyppia's fault for the first, GK for the second and El Zhar surrendered possession horrendously for the second. Dossena's positioning very suspect for the 3rd but to blame him for all three is a bit harsh.

Ngog and Torres have been dreadful, the ball's not stuck once, the only decent players for us have been Agger, Lucas and Babel and they havent been particularly great. More than anything though Tottenham look more up for it than us and fair play to them. Perhaps it being their only viable route into Europe might have summat to do with it.

Alonso needs to come on to help retain possession and maybe Benayoun for Ngog....not too many options really....get Degen off for Darby too.

I'll excuse Degan because he's been out longer than Torres and if we're going to judge him in one game then Torres is also gash, quite obviously he isn't but it just shows if you don't play for a while it can really affect you. Match fitness is under rated. Dossena on the other hand, I was prepared to give him time but he really has been ****e. This was his opportunity to show off his talent but I don't think he as any.
