So that pretty much covers every department then.



On the plus side I thought El Zhar played well, Insua looked decent when he came on and put himself about. Darby looked solid for the time he was on the pitch.

Ngog was poor in the first half but improved somewhat in the second, still not sure why we bought him though.

The major negative for me (besides the obvious Degen and Dossena) was Plessis - he was absolutely shocking - just strolled around the pitch as if he was playing in the Craggy Island V Rugged Island All Priests Over 75 Match. Shocking.

El Zhar, Babel, Insua, Alonso and Agger when he came on are the only players who can walk off that pitch knowing they did all they could.

Degen and Dossena don't even get me started.
Plesis nothing from him.
Ngog didn't even notice he played.

Was just laughing after their 4th goal, was that embarrasing.
Torres just couldn't be arsed either, just went out for a kick around like we do to the park.

Seriously, I think a lot of players looked worse than they are because we could not get a foothold in CM. El Zhar, Torres, Ngog and Babel all looked ****e. But seeing as how we got them no service that is not great surprise to me. At this point in time a Plessis + Lucas CM is not going to dominate anyone, neither is it going to provide enough quality possession to Torres et al to win a game. Xabi + Lucas or El Jefecito + Lucas, maybe.
