Thanjk you.

Pay me 30,000 a week and Ill sit under the bench without complaint, Rafa need never bring me on so I wont complain.
But then people will have a go at you for doing that, so you can't win really.
Even if Yossi has said this I can't fault him for doing so, other than maybe it should be said behind closed doors and not in the press (but we don't know how much artistic licence they've used in the article anyway). I don't want any players at the club who are happy not to play and just take their wage home.

I agree with this. I want Yossi to stay as he's a useful option but if he does insist on leaving and we get a few quid for him, it wont be a disaster.

I'm certainly not going to slag the guy off for saying he wants to play. I want every player hungry to play. That is what breeds competition for places.
Always struck me as a strange signing by Rafa - a 'bits and pieces' player with no defined role. Useful in Europe but could do with the eye for goal little Luis had.
like yossi and itd be a shame to lose him. he's not a 1st 11 player tho and he knows it. if he's more ambitious than that then he needs to leave. no harm done there i don't think.
good luck to the lad and hopefully we can replace him with a youth player rather than spending more.
Really like Yossi as a squad player and definitely want him to stay! His stats of 11 goals and 10 assists in his first season are impressive (albeit 2 hat-tricks) and he probably should have had a bit more game time based on this...
...he can be really effective at home against the smaller teams who put 11 men behind the ball.
He's scored 2 hat tricks. As much as they were against crap teams it still shows some kind of eye for goal.
If he could recover the killer touch he had against some of the **** teams early to midway throough last season then he would be a hugely valuable asset - changing the likes of the 2-0 against Bolton to being more inline with what Chelsea are doing. Unfortunately that appears to have been the exception rather than any sort of rule throughout his career.
He was good against United this season though - credit where it's due - which was not something I would have expected on the back of last season.
It is nice, for once, to have options in the squad who you think might deserve more game time such as Yossi and Babel. Riera and Kuyt have been exceptional this season but there is always a chance of an injury to one or both.

He is a valuable squad player, but also replaceable.
He has done a good job and due to his versatility very usefull to have, but not a player that alone takes us forward. I hope he stays as having good rotation players is important, but I won't be sad if he leaves and we get another.
its from israeli tv so the quotes must be backed up. I like Yossi, but we know Rafa and thats a big kiss goodbye, surely he would know that too..
Unless you speak Hebrew, (which I don't to confirm the source or not) we have no of knowing if it is from Israeli TV. As I pointed out in my previous post, the Daily Mail couldn't even get the correct name for the TV channel.
Their record this week is:
Pennant on the bottle.
Yossi making ultimatums about play me or I leave.
Skrtel - I'm lonely and bored and want to go back to St Petersburg
and it is only Thursday.
By Sunday, I'm predicting the following headlines
Rafa upset with the lack of progress on new deal...
Gerrard - Manchester City or Chelsea my next move, because Rafa said I was injured.
Carra - I'm off to sign for United, because I respect Sir Alec...
One suspects the Daily Mail feels we are really becoming a threat this season!
