    Disallowed Bolton Goal

    http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/...4375-22290698/

Apols if this has been done before but this really sodding irritates me. I am, at best, an amateur watcher of Liverpool. But even I could see that Nolan TRIED TO TRIP REINA HENCE A FOUL WAS GIVEN.

So why can't all these so called professional 'watchers' see this too?

Am I being ignorant and missing some rule of the game whereby a foul in any other area of the pitch is not a foul against a keeper in his own 6 yard box?
    Really?

Article is bollocks. I'm sure AFII can quote the rule. Its section 12 or 13 which that impeding the goalkeeper results in an indirect free kick. So when Rafa was talking about an international rule, he is somewhat right.

What people are failing to see in this incident however is we should have had a throw leading up to the corner being awarded to bolton! Watch carraghers reaction says it all!!

He's clearly not a fan of Rafa's so pushing that language aside I think the articles spot on to be honest.

It wasn't a trip he was just being an awkward ******* and making sure Reina couldn't get to the ball.

It came close to a trip as much from Reina steppping over his legs trying to get past as anything else.

But I do think it was rightly called a foul.

Why worry about what bitters, pundits and 'experts' have to say on the matter. It was a free kick. We won 2-0. 3 points in the bag. End of.

Haven't heard too much complaining from the Bolton camp on the matter just the usual suspects with their usual biased bollocks.

On top of that the referee blew for a free kick so early it makes you wonder if the defence slowed or stopped altogether due to the whistle. Had he not blown so soon would the ball have been kept out?
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

I didnt bother reading the article but i thought Dion Dublin got it spot on at the time. As Nolan made no attempt to get the ball it was obstruction. Just like it would have been anywhere else on the pitch.
                Quit your jibber jabber!!!

Jermaine, you know the song Billie Jean...is it about the tennis player??

What made me laugh was when one pundit suggested that Pepe's push on Nolan prior to the corner being taken should have been a penalty. The ball wasn't even in play - get real!
