The fella's on the official site and what not have had there say on the skipper, now is your turn to express your thoughts on the lad from huyton as he celebrates 10 years as a Liverpool player.

Everything that needed saying about Gerrard has been so i cant really add much. All i can say is im just lucky to have grown up watching the man in a Liverpool shirt. I do feel very, very silly at these times because i know i've criticised him before but it's just down to the fact i expect him to do the impossible every game, unfair to say the least but i'd say i'm not the only one that does it.
We will never have another Stevie G.

I agree.Dalglish was amazing but he played in a world class team.Gerrard is my favorite liverpool player.

Aye, Stevie week, the anniversary of his debut i believe being the reason.

What a ****in find for us, the most important home grown home town find this club has ever had, where would we have been without him i dread to think, we couldn't have afforded a player like Gerrard, so to bring him through from the youth system was so important for LFC.

As for the man himself, well, he is quite simply the best all action all round midfielder around...imo.

A Liverpool Legend, please let it pass in his time that he lifts the Premiership Trophy aloft as a winner, maybe more than once if poss.

It's no more than he deserves as a player, he has been so consistently awesome for so long for LFC that i hope he captains us to the Title, it would be so fitting, and with Carra alongside so right.

Well said, was thinking much the same!

He has moments of pure brilliance, and even in games where he doesen't shine he still gives everything for the team.

The only thing I would add to that is, that he is the player in the team I really really hopes gets to lift the PL trophy with us, he deserves it and you know it is everything when he speaks about it.

The man is a true LFC legend, he has it all. His all round game is immense and no other footballer can come near him in that sense.

Does he have any weak spots to his game, the answer to that is quite simply......no.

He can do anything. Pass, tackle, shoot, score, defend, attack. The only thing he hasn't done yet is play in goal.

To you Steven Gerrard I bow in respect of the greatest player I've ever had the pleasure of watching.
