Thanjk you.

Makes the whingers after the Villa game look foolish today. Lol the amount of people complaining like there was no tomorrow that none of the other top 4 would drop points to Villa.
Well Arsenal lost all 3 at home last week and now United lost 2 this week. Bad result for us we should really have hammered Fulham but still managed to gain points over one of the top 4 and stayed the same with the other 2.
Its critical for our season that Torres stays fit now and regains his scoring touch, There were glimpses yesterday, but with him really firing we should have enough to beat the likes of Fulham and Stoke even when having a less than great team day. If he strikes form we could still be going into the Christmas period in serious contention, which is something we haven't been able to say for a long time, and all we can really ask imo.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
Was in Kendal until early 90s then moved to L/pool 95...
its mega up there aint it! worst thing is when people assume your from barrow coz your from cumbria. i always respond by saying i don't like my family in that way

Aye, we really need him to start firing. That'll free up space for others too- most notably Keane.
Good thing is tho that despite his prolonged absence, we are still top, GD aside & kept ourselves in contention.
There is not two ways of looking at it, it was a bad weekend for us and Chelsea. BOth teams were playing 'home-bankers'.
The winners of the weekend are ManU with a point at Villa Park.
I don`t agree with the Scum being winners. The two teams in front drew and they failed to close the gap.
The way I look at it you can put the top five in three categories this weekeend:
Winner: Villa, they gor a point vs the Scum and the Arsenal lost.
Drawers: Us, Chelski and the Scum. The Scum got the best result, but they need to win when the others drop points. The front two didn`t perform, but due to the other results everything stays them same.
Losser. Arsenal, what a terrible week for them.
A lot of the bottom teams got points, and there seems to be a very close run both in the top and the bottom this season.

The 'top 5' is irellevant. If we are comparing to the 'top 5' we may aswell give up now. Its Chelsea & ManU who are our current rivals.
When we drew at Villa Park it was considered a good point, however if Man U were to be held at home to Fulham (worst away record in the Premiership) we would be happy.
I agree we can consentrate on the top three, but even then I`m not sure Scum were winners.
The top two had bad days, but the Scum couldn`t close the gap.
The Scum needs to make up ground, and they need to do it when the top two drop points.
The way I look at it we should have been two points clear today, but Chelski feels the same way. The Scum knew the other results, but still didn`t mange to close the gap. I know they had the hardest game, but they now have one game less to close the gap.
You could even say that we and Chelski are "winners", because even when both underperformed nobody were able to close the gap.

It`s all in the way you look at it.
Bottom line all of the top 3 would settle for a point at Villa Park, yet none of them would settle for a point at home to Fulham.
Weather you like it or not ManU were the winners this weekend.
I guess we have to disagree on this one, although I see your point.
If you look at each game separetly ManU had the best result, but the way I see it they need better results that us because they are behind in the table.
My point is that ManU had a chance to close the gap, and they didn`t. So I don`t see them as winners. All top three sides had a chance to improve their chances, but none of them did.
No point worrying about United if we hope to win the league, the only team we should be focusing on is Chelsea. Both had 2 home draws so bad results for both teams but no difference in the league.
