i dont think this can be underestimated. an extra 2 weeks rest for our players this summer would do them the world of good. less need for rotation, which rafa does based on freshness/conservation of energy.

If manure are slightly happier than us, having only drawn against a team that they whip season in - season out, then there is more wrong with manure than with us.

I'm schadenfradenly (is that a word?) happy that manure are now taking 0-0 draws like that as some sort of moral victory over teams above them. I remember us doing that last season being 8-10 points behind them. :-)
