    LFC Shop in Dublin

    Seems the yanks want to open a shop in Dublin,Hope it does better than scums which was a disaster

    There really is some support in Dublin. I was back home for a few days in the summer and there were LFC shirts and tracks suits all over the place. Lots of young kids too, which is positive. I know the manure shop did well in Arnotts (a local dept store) but once it was launched as a stand alone store it quickly folded. Which was nice :-)

      That Utd shop was doomed to failure because of where they situated it - on the east side of Westmoreland Street, practically on O'Connell bridge. No retail outlet would ever survive there basically because you have to cross the road to get there, sounds stupid but is true.

      The Northside (Henry St) is perfect for a good store. Pedestrianised street, millions of people passing the window every year, so easy to just drop in for a look and it just happens to resemble so many streets in Liverpool city centre.
