Doubt it mate, Portsmouth won't play in Milan - in the UEFA cup group matches there is no home and away fixtures, it one or the other.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Not really. Took my breath away when I walked in and saw the pitch during the stadium tour the day before the game. They stick you right in the gods in the away end - the players are miles away. We drew 0-0 when I went but I had a great time.

We've had some amazing European nights and one that sticks out for me is the Roma game when Houllier returned from illness. Heskey was utterly immense that night and the atmosphere was incredible.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Juventus at Anfield was great, especially when their players started throwing their toys out of the pram in the second half...
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

Have you been to the ground to see a match or just the city itself.

                        favourite european games i attended

well for me, instead of the usual champions league games people will choose - olympiakos, chelsea, juve etc

I will pick a few different games

I have mentioned this on here before, so in no particular order

Cup Winners Cup think it was the semi final, about 10-12 years ago so i was say 15 in the first leg away i remember us being ****ing dire and losing 3-0 to Paris St Germain

I went the return leg and despite a brave and determined effort, iirc we won 2-0 but lost on goal difference - despite going out though, it was the first time i had experienced what it was really like being a liverpool fan - we had ultimatley lost and been knocked out of the comp cause of dire first leg yet I found myself along with everyone else in the ground singing YNWA at the top of voice and clapping the players of the pitch - no booing, slagging off, storming out etc

secondly - Uefa Cup final in dortmund vs Alves - a greta day and great experience and the liverpool fans along with both dortmund fans that had come out to get involved along with the alves fans created a great atmosphere before/during/after the match

more recently - for the life of me I can't remember who it was, but in the champions league, prob a group game and i think it was a spanish team (i'm thinking real betis) at anfield, despite being a fairly laclkustre game and average atmosphere from the kop the away fans were class and they were doing this clapping that i wouldn't even attempt to describe but it was class and we just couldn't replicate it - it had a fnatastic beat/rythym and the whole section of awya fans were in time together - i really enjoyed seeing that
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
