    Club slashes ticket prices!!!!!!!!

Liverpool Football Club are to cut the cost of match tickets, knocking a whole £1 off the price.

The cut incorporates the government's recently announced reduction in the rate of VAT, but goes further.

Chief Executive Rick Parry said: "We recognise these are very difficult times for many people and wanted to help with a reduction for our supporters beyond the cut in VAT."

With the West Ham and Hull City games already sold out, the first match affected is the Boxing Day clash against Bolton, with sales to PTS members starting on the 3rd of December and the general sale from the 9th of December.

Tickets for A games on the Kop will drop to £36, with the rest of the ground priced at £38 and for B games to £34 (Kop) and £36 respectively.

The adult child prices are: £57 (A Game) for 1 adult/1 child and £54 (B Game) for 1 adult/1 child.

            Doesn't really matter TBH.

People still pick and choose what game to go to based on opposition and importance.

They are only reflecting the cut in VAT.
Let's see how everyone else reacts.

Yeah I know but what I meant was,

Let's see if if other major clubs knock a considerable amount off and not just reflect VAT adjustments.

                        Better than nothing.

For those people on the breadline this is a god send. I ain't exactly poor anymore but I come from a working class family and reductions like that at this important time can make all the difference.

I see many a people struggling due to my job and living in London, I've no doubt there are people in similar situations up and down the country. £1 is a lot of money to some people who are drowning in a sea of debt.

So I agree it is a small token offering and should have been higher, but it is better than nothing and fair lay to all who brought through this idea.
                        Forwards.......

                          Disagree.

£1 is nothing to all those people who are either
well off or in a lot of debt.

£1 is nothing lol. Not to anyone in Britain. I just find it hilarious how Parry say's the club wanted to go FURTHER than just the 2.5% cut. I think He went about 7p further
