It seems that weak teams tend to upset the favourite on most of Monday night match. Is this true? I always have this uneasy feeling whenever Liverpool plays the on Monday night.

Not sure where or how to find that sort of stat out, personally I hate Monday matches too but I don't think we've played that many of them over recent years due to CL commitments etc. Haven't got any particular memory of an inordinate amount of bad results when we have though.
Its stupidly early Sat/Sun kickoffs that always give me a sinking feeling.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Think you're right. Crouch scored a late equaliser after Villa came from behind to lead 2-1. It was the first time Crouchie ever scored off the bench for us if I recall correctly.Originally posted by Matt View PostBenayoun and Crouchaldinho got the goals that night if memory serves me correctly.
I may be wrong but I think we also beat West Ham 2-1 in a Monday game the season before last with goals from Kuyt and Crouch.A humble guy with healthy desire.

I do recall a Monday Night Game in Sunderland a few years back after they were promoted to PL for the first time, they beat us 1-0 in a cold wet winters night which ultimately was GH's watershed in his tenure at LFC...whereas Utd had hammered them something like 9-1 a few games earlier!
****ing hate Monday night games as a rule anyway!Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

That's the power of potassium for you Matt. There is not one day that passes that I don't take a minute out from my busy schedule to reflect on the wonderful benefits potassium has brought to my life.A humble guy with healthy desire.

Sunday 15th December. We lost 2-1 but it was indeed a bad time for GH as we lost 4 league games in a row. McCann first half & late Proctor goal for Mackems, Baros for Reds.Originally posted by Angryred View PostI do recall a Monday Night Game in Sunderland a few years back after they were promoted to PL for the first time, they beat us 1-0 in a cold wet winters night which ultimately was GH's watershed in his tenure at LFC...whereas Utd had hammered them something like 9-1 a few games earlier!
