The police seem incapable of sorting this so why don't the club/ players all pitch in and hire they're own people to find out who's behind it and sort them out. It's not illegal to hire heavies as long as you don't tell them to be violent.

they should pay for their own protection - they get paid enough money ffs"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.
"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

They also pay a lot of tax and so should be entitled to the same police protection as everyone else too mate.Originally posted by bobbyfallon View Postthey should pay for their own protection - they get paid enough money ffs
I'm not for a minute suggesting they aren't doing their job properly because I don't know what they have or haven't done but how many burglaries is it now with zero arrests?"My commitment to Liverpool is 100 per cent. I would die for that Liverpool shirt. I think the club loves me and I feel the same, no matter what the situation." - Pepe Reina, Nov '09.

Of course it is. If someone is robbed the police should investigate the case thoroughly whether they live in a mansion or a two bed gaff like mine. Makes no difference. They may have bigger houses and pay slips than you or I do mate but they also pay a hell of a lot more tax so should get the same public services we do.Originally posted by elvoz View Postthere have been arrests - lucas for sure

the point is they are being targetted by a group or gang or whatever. if it was me personally and i had a family they would be my first interest and i would do whatever it takes to protect them.Originally posted by BFG View PostThey also pay a lot of tax and so should be entitled to the same police protection as everyone else too mate.

they know they are a target as they earn so much money. and with the wags loving to get pictured for ok or hello or whatever wearing expensive jewellery then the group know the jewellery is more than likely in the house somewhere.
it is not going to come as a shock to anyone that the police are useless at the best of times.
as for the zero arrests there has to be something that can be done - if someone is looking at a house they are going to have to go round looking at it a few times. why not have some plain clothes police watching the premises with back up teams ready in case they just happen to get lucky
