come second and we could face BArca.

Doesnt matter where we finish as there will be tough opponents galore to face. However, am certain that we will one team that no one wants to face.

The big upside by finishing first is that we will have the advantage of playing second leg at anfield!

No matter what position we finish in our group we are going to meet a good opposition in the next round.

Do you mean you're quite excited by the idea?
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

it doesnt matter if we play home first or second any more the way we play imo

similarly a 0-0 at home is no longer a bad scoreline in a two legged affair

That is shameful indeed. Not being beaten to it but making the same joke as him.

I've let everyone down and I couldn't be more upset with myself.

My thoughts exactly. Barca look like they'd savage whoever they played. Madrid look vulnerable. I know which i prefer.

Could be a good draw for us. Madrid are now fifth in the league - we can easily get a draw there or possibly a win and beat them at Anfield.

Also, I'm hoping Chelsea finish 2nd and draw Barca

Actually, can the Mancs still finish 2nd in their group?

Yes however unrealistic as they play the giants Aalborg at home.
