there are obviously a few who struggle to understand this concept but imo as we are now top if (if) we were to finish 3rd or worse that would be a bad season

I don’t think we’ll win it but I hope we end up within five points of the eventual Champions. If we do, Rafa deserves a new contract and complete backing from the board. If we’re out of the Premiership race by the end of March (e.g 10 points behind the leaders) then the board have a duty to look for a new manager.

FWIW, I think we'll be in the mix come May.

I've changed my mind. We will be out of the title race by the end of March and we will end the season at least 10 points behind the eventual champions, Utd. With Rafa ****ing about with his contract, the board have a duty to start looking for a potential new manager.

Exactly. We look capable this year, so why not set our sights high for a change, instead of the usual "3rd place is good" mentality.

yeah i kinda see what you mean and agree - The team looked almost nervous, tight and rigid if that makes sense like we have been clinging on to our title challenge - but being like that has caused us more damage than good. Time for rafa and the players to think, well we ballsed it up a bit, lets relax now, go and make the most of what games we have left and enjoy it and get at teams

seriously - with no alonso or gerrard, i don't know why rafa didn't just think about it a bit and think (certainly in our remaining home games)

Go right at city from the off and just peg them back with constant attack
