Erm, yes it would. Chelsea could go top and United would only be 7 points behind with two games in hand with us needing to play them at theirs. These past home games have royally ****ed us over.

I know I am going to get some stick but I think if we win the league this season which is somehow some sort of possibility, it will be because the teams around us are not up to the usual standard and we have stayed there by playing poorly. I personally feel, one team will only have to go on a massive winning streak and thats us out and gone from the league.

No Guys I am not sure if you remember or if it was on this site ... but before everygame someone would fire up a if and when we lose or draw thread, it was almost like a lucky charm because we went on a very long winning streak ... Of course I think we will batter Arsenal

Maybe you should cosider the possibility that the standard of the other premeirship teams has been raised. You should also realise that Liverpool are one of those teams capable of winning 10 on the bounce, to say we are not is foolish, check the past few seasons.

I should also add that our second best player has been injured or not fit for a large portion of the season, that our big summer purchase has failed to take off and that our left back has been disastrous. If all three of those problems were resolved -Torres back to full fitness, Keane hitting form or being sold and his replacement making an impression and same applys for Dossena - Then we could really take off in the New Year.

I think the other teams will be just as upset at not building a gap up as we are, and they should be. I have no doubt in my mind that at least one of the big 4 will hit top form. Hopefully it will be us. If the three problems I mentioned don't get resolved then I doubt we will win the title.
