How is Barragan getting on? He looked a great prospect.

I don't follow what you mean here - how would the ball stop the photographer from taking a picture?

The old timer doesn't know what a zoom is.

Mark Gonzalez (£4.5m): “Only if you know nothing about football could you say he is not good enough to play in the Premiership,” fumed Benítez after the speedy winger was refused a work permit in 2005. A year later he got his permit. A year after that he had been sold to Real Betis. Apparently he was not good enough to play in the Premiership

                      Love the Nunez picture

Think the article is a bit harsh, some of them were bought for peanuts, but there are some major flops on there

                      I liked Kromkamp

Are you serious?!! He was poor IMO and looked completely out of his depth.

out of that lot I was proper excited when we signed Morientes. I thought to myself "this guy bangs em in at Madrid, is generally a legend and should suit Rafa's system, Happy Days!" How wrong I was

Failures, i suppose, but some were free most were very cheap, very very cheap, imo most of them were nothing more than stopgaps, squad fillers, gambles, but trust the press to focus on this, anything they can portray as negative where LFC is concerned these days.
