He played how Dossena should be playing, hope Insua gets a proper run.

I hope the lad gets a few more games he did well today
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Is the correct answer. He will now vanish until the first warm up game of next season.

Yeah Insua has impressed. If he can continue kicking on for the rest of the season then we'd be in good stead next year for the 'troublesome' LB position.

El Zhar has also done well when he's come on this season - would like to see the lad have more game time in 2009 too.

Should be his position to lose now. Let the others try and displace him

I hope Rafa doesnt drop him, it is a bit galling to see how quickly that Rafael at the scum has developed into their first choice rb, even slur alex was in the press the other day praising him and saying he was now first choice ahead of brown and the inbred one.

Good good player and i can see him being in the first team for a long time. He has pace, an eye to pick out a pass and has pace. Will become a good liverpool player in years to come.

I don't think he will at all.

I expect Dossena still to get games, and we certainly shouldn't just expect Insua to now be guaranteed first choice, but I bet he will get a fair amount of starts from now on.

The lad did very well today.

Top class today, looked so accomplished and comfortable, easily MOTM.

If Dossena starts ahead of him again, i'll cry.

Showed what the problem with modern football is.

We've got a player like him and yet we spunk £7mil on older player who has so far proved he is no where near as good. Just imagine if Dossena came and was as good as Insua, the kid would never get a chance.

He is Mascherano as a left back. Full of fight and energy and he seems dependable. Dossena is miles behind him and should never play for the club again. His cross for El Zhar's header was sublime and he should play against Bolton. He has never had a bad game for the first team and will only get better.

Surely his emergence should see Dossena being sold back to Italy. I live in hope.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I'm not sure I thin that the right squad balance is ideally two players for each position. We had Aurelio who was never going to be fit for more than half the games in a season so we needed a first choice player. Having Insua alone would have been a problem and if he had a bad run we would have had no way to take him out of the firing line. I think he would still have had chances even if Dossena had been good.

I actually think there are signs that Dossena may become a decent option but I would love it for Insua to come through and make it as first choice.
