Quality goal, yes, but let's not go too far; he had acres of space and beat one rather pedestrian Thrasyvoulos(?) player before scoring.

It's a great goal, **** defending or not. It's been a while since we saw a goal like that from any of our players. If he matures and improves over there we could solve our left sided issues for years to come.

I'm sorry, i'm usually so positive too, but wonder goal?, these expressions do get bandied about don't they, 'Great' 'Wonder' 'Brave' 'Heroic', all i saw was a pro footballer running with the ball at his feet, nearly losing control of it twice, as for the defence, well..where the hell was it He did however hit it sweetly...but put it in a place where a keeper would normally expect to save it.

Bit unfair to single out a young inexperienced player in what was a shocking performance all round. The likes of Gerrard were no better.

Watching Leto again, he looks exactly like Riera. There seems to be an endless amount of comparisons. They both lack genuine pace, reasonable delivery, a few flicks, tall, quite inconsistent.
