We rely on the forums of the best LFC sites on the Net (with their prior permission) to promote our articles.
"Liverpool legends" gives Liverpool fans a fresh insight into the stars of yesteryear while revealing their thoughts and background that you might have not known about before. You get a glimpse of their contemporaries' opinion of the stars of the Liverpool team at that time.
We fully realise this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but LFChistory.net's aim is to enlighten or refresh people knowledge of Liverpool and not chase sensationalist articles that have little substance. Take a while to read these profiles which have been well researched or bookmark them for a later viewing. These articles will not disappoint.
Our latest article focuses on Elisha Scott who was 22 years at Liverpool and is without a doubt one of the greatest goalkeepers in the club's history.
Elisha was known for being rather foulmouthed and determined as he reveals in a rare interview in 1955: "Many goalkeepers these days are frightened to leave the goal. They forget it will always be there when they get back. Any ball in the six yards area was my bird and it should be for every goalkeeper. If he thinks a full back or another defender is in the way, tell'em to get to blazes out of it. I did."
