    Mininum acceptable target

What is in your opinion the lowest acceptable position for Liverpool this season. Will you call for Rafa getting the sack if he fails to deliver the title or is a title challenge enough this season?

IMO Rafa is showing improvement and that he is willing to try new things and bend his own rules, given time I'm 80% certain he can deliver the title. I think I be content with third or second if he can sustain the challenge towards the end of the season.

I think 3rd or 4th from were we are NOW would be a failure.

I'd of gladly taken a top 4 spot WITH signs of improvement on last season i.e closing the points gap but from where we are now and not playing well I will not be happy if we don't pick up and push on in the second half of the season.

I think Rafa will get a lot of stick if he now fails to finish in the top 2 regardless of what we do in Europe.

I'm afraid he'll get a lot of stick if he comes second, the expectations are a bit high for a club of our resources.

In the hunt till the end that's all I wanted at the start of the season. Finishing 2nd or 3rd doesn't bother me if we had a chance to win it right to the end. I think the prem will be tight this year with no more than 6 pts seperating 1 st and 3rd positions.
        Dare we believe

To finish 5 points from top is the bare minimum.

OK, but what is you ideal target then?

Given the position we've put ourselves in I'll be gutted if we don't win it.

However I still think we'll be overtaken by maybe both Utd and Chelsea but I won't be calling for Rafa's head if it happens.

Being in the title race come april/may, hopefully we'll win it but end position (if we don't win it) wouldn't bother me as long as it's top 4 and we're there or there abouts at the end of the season
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

A lot depends on two of our remaining "top 4" games that we have left - Chavs at home and then Man stupid away - the weekend after our visit to tMadrid. If we can get a minimum of 4 poitns from that - preferably with a victory at Old Toilet - then if we're top 2 come end of May - I'll be happy.

within 5 points would be great as long as we don't give up on the CL.

should we get knocked out of the CL by Real, I'd want us to win the title and think we can do it - we just can't fight it out on both fronts to the very final stages yet.

People wanted a title challenge, well they're getting it. We'll need bags of luck and our top players playing at their maxmum to go all the way, but at this stage it's about competing.

top for christmas and without torres, keane firing on all cylinders, skittles out, and now agger finding form again.

we can hopefully go very close this year
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

And a decent run in the CL, quater finals+, so basically beating Real and mounting a challenge for the remainder of the season would me satisfactory to me.

Even if we are out of the race start april I still woulden't call for rafa's head.
