Does anyone know where I can find a decent pub there to watch the match without the fear of getting canned by a United supporter? - Sale / Altrincham area.

Cheers dudes, we managed to find a little pub called the 'Gardener's Arms' in Northenden and watched the second half from there. Real old style English pub.
Hey Shaggy, it completely passed me by to contact you as I am currently in Manc land. Would have been lovely to have a pint but not sure if it will be possible right now as we're off south on Sunday. Add to that the fact that most people are busy during this period.Comment
