He's been shown to have been totally misinformed. The guy has taken the money and burnt his bridges with his home town in the process.

I have a mate who loves football but bizarrely doesn't support a team. He listens to a lot of Talk****e and other stuff and yesterday he commented to me on how he could not believe the criticism Benitez takes for the tiniest thing - like leaving Keane on the bench for example - while no-one dare say anything negative about Ferguson for doing similar (Tevez). He reckons the media at large seem to hate Benitez and he has no idea why, reckoning he seems a nice man who is doing a good job.

His completely neutral perception is that Liverpool are, for some reason, easily the most criticised and disrespected club out of the top 4, followed by Arsenal, Chelsea and then the immune United.
