You seem to think they're just after us. Funnily enough, every set of 'big four' fans seem to think the same of their own club, generally speaking. Maybe they're out to get us all? Or maybe you're just hysterical over not much.

But hey, just because you're paranoid, doesnt mean they're not out to get you, eh?

Any reason why my posts were deleted and this obvious troll is allowed to peddle his filth about 'victims'?

I think some media broadcasters/pundits/ex players etc might have a bit of an axe to grind with LFC, largely due to the fact that they played their football during a time when Liverpool dominated everything and stopped this bunch from maybe winning medals.

I dont think there's a general and conscious "let's stitch Liverpool up" thing in the media as a whole, no. Sometimes we get criticised, sometimes we get praised. It's fairly similar to how Chelsea, Arsenal and United get treated. Arsenal and Wenger have been savaged in the media of late, people questioning Wenger's judgement and even whether he should be sacked. Arsenal are a London club, arent they? So that sort of dispels the 'London media hate us' theory. Scolari's starting to get questioned as well, for that matter. It's generally (not always) results based. If you do well, the media go over the top with their wankfest, and if you're doing poorly, they go OTT with their attacks. It's just what they do.

What does Hillsborough have to do with anything?

And why would i randomly walk into pubs around Anfield and talk about the media?

As i said before, you a bit of a strange one, very self-precious and over sensitive, in reading things that werent actually said.

Because you are the one throwing insults about, and he isn't using "victims" as a reference to Hillsbrough as you are trying to insinuate.

Now give it a rest please.

                  What does he mean then?

As that's something I've heard labelled at us by the media and from fans of other clubs, most notably the mancs.

I'm sure he'd know all about that.

What kind of LFC site are you running here?

If he'd said that at the match he'd get a good hiding.

You haven't got a clue. You only have to listen to Gray, Keys and the whole Sky soccer Saturday mob to recognise the obvious resentment.

It's not as bad as it was, but it's there and always has been. You just have to have supported us longer than a few years.

Well without speaking directly for Craig, I see him as suggesting that we are acting as victims in the sense that we always see the media as against us. If I know Craig there is no way in the world he would be using that to refer in any way to Hillsbrough.

We are running a Liverpool site where we don't accept posters getting abused by other posters.

                            Not especially. Should they have?

I just don't like being accused of being a self pitying 'victim' by your forum's very own Boris Johnson for daring to criticise the obvious agenda driven media.

Maybe I have a bit of self respect, who knows.

I've supported us for over 20 years mate, so apologies for bursting that bubble of yours.

The thing you fail to realise is that Gray and Keys etc, have a job to do and sometimes, one particular piece of methodology is to say things for a reaction, hence the controversial stuff they sometimes come out with. It's the same with the print media too.

You seem to think it's confined to us, which i dont personally agree with.

Gray was licking our arses over that performance yesterday. Keys is just a broadcaster and a bit of a tit with it, but i dont really hold his opinion in any kind of regard, so it doesnt even begin to bother me.

You come across to me as someone who needs to feel hard done by, or under attack. Why you cant just not give a ****, i'm not sure. How does Richard Keys' opinion influence your life? But it's your perogative, obviously. Just respect the right of others to disagree, that's all.

Half the BBC's pundit team are ex Liverpool and all want us to win the title, so i really dont see a general or conscious 'anti-Liverpool' bias.

That's exactly what i meant. There ARE times when the media have a pop at us, there's no disputing that. And it can get a bit tiresome sometimes, yes.

I dont see us as being much more of a target for them than chelsea, arsenal or united though. It's swings and roundabouts. One month it'll be chelsea, the next us, then arsenal etc. They just try to find a 'weak point' and they'll target it.

I have no idea how Hillsborough found its way into the debate
