I've supported us for over 20 years mate, so apologies for bursting that bubble of yours.

The thing you fail to realise is that Gray and Keys etc, have a job to do and sometimes, one particular piece of methodology is to say things for a reaction, hence the controversial stuff they sometimes come out with. It's the same with the print media too.

You seem to think it's confined to us, which i dont personally agree with.

Gray was licking our arses over that performance yesterday. Keys is just a broadcaster and a bit of a tit with it, but i dont really hold his opinion in any kind of regard, so it doesnt even begin to bother me.

You come across to me as someone who needs to feel hard done by, or under attack. Why you cant just not give a ****, i'm not sure. How does Richard Keys' opinion influence your life? But it's your perogative, obviously. Just respect the right of others to disagree, that's all.

FFS, if anyone on here thinks there is a media witch hunt against Liverpool FC they need to see a shrink.

If anything we are to blame for any crticism that can be interpreted as anti-Liverpool bias because we have simply not been good enough for the past 19 years. The media are now seeing a genuine challenge emerging and as journalists it is their natural instinct to question/analyse the team.

The fact that there has'nt been any news of Stevie being released is worrying

Incident seems serious enough ... but there were six of them involved - unlikely that Stevie was stupid enough to be throwing punches himself ... though who knows, he was stupid enough to put himself in that sort of situation.

He will get released without charge. I doubt very much Gerrard would have been involved in the actual fight. Barely a scuffle apparently. Not worried at all, just lucky we don't need Stevie this week

The guy who...well lets call him 'the punchee', the punchee is apparently the DJ at the place it happened, and the time being taken to release Stevie, considering the lawyers at his disposal is worrying, what could also be bad is if punch marked, swollen faced pictures of the punchee are released, not good publicity for Gerrard or the club.

This place will defo have had cctv to help things along, investigative wise, so somethings up.

Few eye witnessess on Setanta said Gerrard didn't look drunk or agrressive and was just sat at a table enjoying himsellf with his mates and a few girls. Apparently a scuffle broke out in the adjourning area but had nothing to do with them. Whether they eventually got involved, he didn't say.

All just speculation at the moment.
