    Ryan Babel

I chose this guy to be in my dream team this year as i really thought he would come on. What do people think, will he develop into the player we bought him to be?

He was absolutely terrible today. He occasionally shows flashes of ability, but I just don't think he's going to develop into a decent Liverpool player.

I thought this was gonna be a huge season for him and it's proved a huge disappointment. I'm close to losing faith in him. So much ability, so little quality in evidence. Bit of a brain-dead performance tonight.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Slight overreaction. He wasn't that bad just didn't set the world alight. The same kind of performances Lucas put in a few times before he hit form. Hopefully the same will be true of babel too
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

I hope you are right. I still think he could come good, but it is a bit of a worry.

Go watch clips of him last season, he was superb.

Dont know if he was overplaying then or not.

Wouldnt give up on him yet but he hasnt looked right since his injury/olympics.

Certainly not giving up on him but thought he would have made a bigger impact this season. The talent is there, without a doubt, maybe should put his head up a bit more.

Needs to sort himself out because he's not been good enough and it's down to him, nobody else.

Towards the end of last season I'd have named him in our strongest starting 11. Really thought he'd kick on and do well this year, when in fact, he's been awful - sadly.

In his own mind he is finished as a Liverpool player.

It's a shame as I've always admired Babel's raw potential, but he's not arsed and Rafa doesn't rate him, so he should probably move on.

We seen how could he could be last season, really dont know what has happened this season. He has had a good run now and running out of excuses. He is a lot better than the show this season, hopefully he picks himself up.

That's the biggest concern - Babel doesnt seem too fussed.

I get the feeling that we're never going to see the best of him unless he becomes a regular starter.

Not sure that will happen for him at Liverpool now as he doesn't seem to be the preferred option across any of the front 4 positions.

Shame, but I'm sure he will still become a star for some team, if not for Liverpool.

He's not bothered mate, he's really not.

I watched him really closely all game. There is absolutely no way he can put his hand on his heart and say "I gave 100% today".

Pity really, as he has all the natural ingredients to be a ****ing superb attacking player.

Attitude problem then, rather than one of ability. He's got no chance of making it here if that's the case. Maybe Pako was right about the lad.
