IMHO Hobbs isnt good enough - may develop into a deceent championship player in time but he wont be at LFC for much longer

Hard to say, who would have thought Carra would have made it at that age? Has very hard competition in front of him and other players from the reserves near the same level as him. Could well be hard for the lad.

I'd have thought he's worth an extension to his current contract and if Leicester come up we'll get a chance to see how he handles the step up in grade. Worse comes to worse we sell on for a few quid

And whilst LFC look good in defence now, in a couple of years we could look a bit bare. After all, Agger hasn't signed a new deal yet and Sami is nearly at an end. Hobbs may not be setting the world alight, but I've not heard a bad word said about the lad. And when you are a central defender that is the key.
