Are you saying that a Champion's League meeting against Real Madrid in the knock out stages will have no bearing on Rafa's preparation for the remainder of the season?

No doubt if we were playing Blyth Spartans there would be a different approach to the game. But I think it would be no different to us getting Barca, Inter or Juve etc.
