Wayne Bridge £12M - IMO best left back in Prem
Ribery £12M - Was awesome in the world cup and he looks a prem type player. Would fit right in
Can't think of another player/position we need right now. Maybe get a clearer view as the season progresses with who's not cutting it.

      .......Reina
      Finnan.Carragher.Agger.Bridge
      Ribery.Gerrard.Alonso.Riise
      ......Kuyt.Crouch

      Who knows.....

I dont understand why everybody rates lennon so highly. IMO he is on the same level as pennant. Sends loads of crosses into the box but always over hit or does not find our players.

Said it before we should of signed giuly when we had the chance.

Id rather Riise. Guess he is a bit of a cult hero in my eyes now.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Who would you go for Lec?

Alves would certainly be on my list of three, and I'm hoping we go back there in January or the summer.

The others I'm not sure about, as I don't think we need much more for now. We need to get the new guys settled and see where we are in the summer.

Don't get me wrong I like Riise, but i'd prefer Bridge at left back

Bridge is one of the best left backs in the prem, and we could do with some solid cover in that position.
Hargreaves I picked because he can do a good holding defenders job, but he's also quite versatile, can play at full back and also on the wing.

Wasnt so much who you picked but the fees you had

Sevilla want £15 million for Alves

Didnt United bid £15 million for Hargreaves?

Micah Richards is a good shout but he will be tough to get, both with his contract at City and with the Chavs sniffing around.

Huntelaar is a good shout aswell. As for a new leftback, IMO you would struggle to find a better all round leftback in the world at the moment than Riise.

Suberb player and one of my favourites.

We do need some decent backup for the LB position tho, as was made evident when Riise was injured for a couple of games.

A good versatile left and right footed full back would solve this problem and our lack of another RB, trouble is, is there one?

                              Lucas Neill could play there!
