Thanjk you.

Was planning to go and watch this as I live in Bristol but literally opened my new business yesterday so couldn't spare the time in the end.
As an ex Rovers YTS and a life long Liverpool fan I would've been interested in the standard of football and lads playing
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

I went - along with abut 2,500 others. There was only 1 turnstile open to start with, and a massive queue. Had to open the gates in the end, and a third stand. We missed the start as a result.
The standard of football from both teams was excellent, and it was a lot closer than I thougt it would be.
Ince is the spit of his dad, right down to the hard tackles, gesticulations and snarl. He had a good first half playing in the hole, but was anonynours second half.
The pick of the bunch for me was the number 8 (Pepper?). He ran the show, but was bizarely taken off early for some reason.
Andre Wisdom in defence looks like he'll be a quality player if he can sort outhis decision making. Clearly has talent but he'll get caught out a lot if he plays that way every game.
Dalla Valle looks an awesome player. Had two good chances ad scored two goals. His runs were fantastic throughout the game and he was unlucky his team mates did not see his runs.
Ince looks set to be a great player. Ran the show early on until being moved to accomadate changes late on. Only 15 too........
Amoo I would compare to Babel. Fantastic dribbler but poor descision maker. If he can carry on his development he will make the grade. When he was being used in the correct manner Bristol could not cope with his pace and trickery. Lacks the power of Babel shots however.
Both Pepper and Irwin had poor games for me and I know both can play a lot better than that. Metcalfe at RB looked game but seemed to lack that bit of quality. The two left sided players looked to have ability and combined will. Kakaclinic should have done better with his chances.
Bouzanis looked good, odd error but it's to be expected at his age. I was impressed with his kicking. I remember seeing him when he first joined and it was terrible. What with him and Reina our keeper coaches must be teaching them something!
Overall I would say good flashes from the lads, but they didn't combine as well as they can. In tha hat though so that's all that counts in the cup.
Any Bristol players who looked good? Isounds like we have several genuine prospects and they held us to a draw. They must have some decent players as well as being organised.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

They have a few decent looking players yeah, I think the striker Richards was their best player, he got the two goals and looks a tidy player.

As is the case in football a team can sometimes perform below their level and get held by a lesser team. As mentioned by another poster Richards looked good, but I think it was LFC making him look good.
LFC are a good passing team but on that day they were awful, Irwin and Pepper seemed inclined to rush the game with ambitous long passes that failed to come off. At one point of the game Irwin gave away four in a row.
Obviously with me having not seen much of Bristol I can not compare their display to others they have had, but can only compare on what I have heard and in that sense it is unlikely they have any future premiership stars. LFC on the other hand could write a good case for at least six of them.
