ok im pissed off after today's results and i have my gloom and doom head on, but tell me why in the most crucial part of the premiership with the scum hot on our heels Rafa rejects a new contract, its not the rejection that winds me up ,he must have his reasons but the timing of it,it must have a negative effect on the team and we don't need that at the moment, who sets this agenda the board or as rafa used this moment to highlight it at this time for maximum publicity,i hope not because if he has its the wrong decision, and a growing mistrust of a man i worship is starting to develop.

Sorry to add to your doom and gloom, but sadly, we're actually hot on their heels now.
What pissed me off about the whole thing is not the timing, but the fact that it was dealt with publicly. If it's kept private, the timing has no effect. Personally I think Rafa didn't plan it for maximum effect, I just think he got fukd off at a ****ty contract and did what he normally does and voiced his opinions through the bloody press. Shut up Rafa and keep it behind closed doors. He has a habit of it. One he needs to sort out.President of the Ban Smileys Society

The timing is terrible because it does make the players think about things that are non on the field related.
for example , agger is probably dithering on his contract because he does not know about the future of Rafa.
Torres is probably wondering if the man that bought him to England is still going to be there next week.
The entire focus should be on the next match only.
disturbances so far include.
stevie incident
facts not mindgames incident
rafa contract incident
