Most painful thing about last night...

Wasn't the goal. I could see that coming, wasn't the fact I fell on my arse on my way home on the ice.

It was watching the cockeroach with a blue top on, who I watched the match with, walk out of the pub singing "Glory glory Man Utd" He was so happy for the scum, unbelievable bitterness.
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

I tell you what, if there were internet forums around when we were at the peak of our glory years in the 70s and 80s there would have been just as much crap being posted. Nature of the beast.

As for the Everton fan singing 'Glory glory Man Utd' that is truly gut wrenching.

I think your wrong - I think the mentality of the fans has changed massively over the last couple of decades. Seing the fans at the game leave early last night was a prime example of this.

Yes it has changed, because we are no winning the league every season.

Wasn't at the game so would not like to comment on those fans leaving early. I am sure it was only a small minority anyway.

The most painful aspect of last nights game for me was the lack of fight our players showed in comparison to Everton. They were up for every ball and every player hassled and harried when we were in possession. By contrast we literally stood still at times, not even challenging for a 50-50 ball, with players just standing there waiting for another player to make the challenge. So frustrating.

They used to leave at 3/4 time in the 70s and 80s as well mate, many OOTs have to try and beat the traffic to get home at a reasonable time, if they have kids who are at school next day.

That is why I always tend to wait untill the day after before reading/posting in the match threads...

What's really gut wrenching is the knowledge that they will bend over for a good hard rogering at Old Trafford when they visit for their away fixture with Utd.

I think you`re confusing the players with the fans (with the exemption of Neville)

                      Indeed.

What did Phil Neville and Tim Howard cost Everton?

That's rubbish as Everton played with heart and guts against manure earlier this season to get a deserved draw. Had Chelsea done the same we'd still be top.
