    Mascherano
    Alonso

    Babel
    Gerrard
    Riera

    Torres

Thats a side good enough to win.
Good side, don't get the squaddies bit though. It would be Rafa telling them to prove Rafa wrong, & wrong about what, buying them.

Been a lot of games where we've missed lots of chances, hope we score every one v the Bitters this time.

I know the bitters have striker issues, so to be where they are in the league they must have taken nearly all the chances the've created of late. ****s.

but i hope to **** ya right

I'm basing it on the fact that we haven't played a team off the park for 90 minutes at Anfield this season, and I mean steamrolled them, yet.

I've a feeling it will be sunday, but then again, it could just be a water infection.

I wouldnt be so sure we're going to thump them, mid-table teams usually push hard in the domestic cups as they know its where they are most likely to find success.

For me this is the cleanup after the Lord Mayor's parade. We need to win the league not the FA Cup. Playing Everton just makes it a more meaningful distraction than it should be. If we'd won our last two games then I'd have been quite happy to blow off this one, but we are slipping in the league - maybe a good win will get us back on track. Not sure what I'm saying, except I'm not happy that we're throwing away our best chance at the league in years.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

I'm a Liverpool supporter, of course I don't expect us to crush them.

              Would be nice, mind you.

Does the prospect of Cavalieri not fill anyone else with a slight sense of dread? Can see them getting another set-piece goal

Think they will edge us out tbh - sorry.
Means both teams will concentrate on where there most likely success will come from.

If it gets us the league so be it.

I think it'd be a bad move to put out a weak team.

We desperately need a win, not because of the FA Cup, but because we have to get back into winning form for our league campaign and a convincing win over everton would bring back belief.

Well no, i expect it wont. Rafa's rigid and regimented on everything else, so i dont see why he'd change his policy of fielding weaker sides in the cups.

                                Everton FA Cup - Build-up

Lets not send those bitter *******s back home celebrating another draw like a cup win.

I thought the team looked strong on paper on Monday but Kuyt and Riera's lack of pace nullifies their threat a bit in a straightforward 4-4-2.

                                So I'd revert to:

                                Cava

                                Arbeloa Carra Skrtel Aurelio

                                Mascherano Alonso

                                Kuyt Gerrard Riera

                                Torres

                                ...and let's stuff them.
