and yet Ngog goes straight into the squad. Surely there's some of these loan lads and Nemeth etc from the reserves who should get more of a go.

Who has left us and gone on to show they should have played more?

Funny, was going to say that in another thread when 'Bari' said a similar thing about Wenger, (not the playing more point), but gone on to better things, i couldn't think of one, except McManaman, and we didn't get rid of him, we had no choice.

But your on about youngsters here i know.

if players don't get a chance at the highest level then you'll never know if they would've made it. It doesn't necessarily follow that just because a player doesn't go on to become a world beater when we let them go that never would've made it, it doesn't work like that.

                        Forest wait on winger scan

                        Sky Sports

Nottingham Forest are waiting to discover the extent of the wrist injury suffered by Paul Anderson in Friday night's FA Cup fourth round clash against Derby.

The on-loan Liverpool youngster impressed during a spell at Swansea last season and had just begun to show glimpses of his talent in recent weeks following the appointment of Billy Davies.

However, after receiving a bleak initial prognosis on the winger, Forest assistant manager David Kelly has moved to offer the club's support ahead of a potentially lengthy spell on the sidelines.

"We think he has suffered a fracture or dislocation of his right wrist. At this stage we are not too sure and we are not too sure how long he would be out for. He will go for scans and we will know more after that.

"We wish him well and a quick recovery because he has been absolutely brilliant for us over the last few weeks."

                        -------------------------------------------

I've always had some hope that Anderson might actually break through, seems to have done pretty well on his loan spells since we bought him and looked like he could be a really good prospect. Hope he gets a chance to play again this season.

                        Mine angry and defrauded young?
