    Nemeth Loan

Krisztian Nemeth today completed a loan switch to Championship side Blackpool.
The Hungarian striker, who has just turned 20, will spend a month at Bloomfield Road.

Nemeth was the star of Liverpool's title-winning reserve team last season and is already part of the Hungary national squad.

He has yet to make his senior debut for the Reds, though he has featured in pre-season friendlies.

Kind of dissapointed, i'd like to have seen him have some games in our team, he's as good as N'gog in my opinion.

Games at Blackpool will be good for him though, it'll be interesting to see how he copes playing regularly.
    We come not to play.

If it's just a month and toughens him up then maybe he could be get a few games come the end of the season once the title has been confirmed.

I think this is an excellent opportunity for him. I'm not sure that he has what we need right now in the first team but if he proves he is a goalscorer for Blackpool then room can almost certainly be made for him in the squad.

            Hope so.

On the flipside I agree with some other comments on here that he should have had a chance in our team this season.

I hope it works out, but when was the last time a loan deal worked out for us, other than offloading the player.

Great news this, he really needs to go and play some competetive football. I guess its a month on a trial basis, if he does well he might stay for the rest of the season. Will be fun to keep an eye on his progress.

Jack Hobbs and David Martin are doing good at Leicester, I doubt we'll see Hobbs back but Martin showing enough to be a long term backup to Reina.

Paul Anderson did well at Swansea last season, his reward was to to be farmed out to Forrest

Anybody know how he's getting on?

Anderson was subbed in the 78th minute of their FA Cup draw against Derby on Friday, due to a wrist injury. Didnt see the match though, but that was a big game and he started it.

                    Heres the article http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...841014,00.html

Nottingham Forest are waiting to discover the extent of the wrist injury suffered by Paul Anderson in Friday night's FA Cup fourth round clash against Derby.

The on-loan Liverpool youngster impressed during a spell at Swansea last season and had just begun to show glimpses of his talent in recent weeks following the appointment of Billy Davies.

However, after receiving a bleak initial prognosis on the winger, Forest assistant manager David Kelly has moved to offer the club's support ahead of a potentially lengthy spell on the sidelines.

"We think he has suffered a fracture or dislocation of his right wrist. At this stage we are not too sure and we are not too sure how long he would be out for. He will go for scans and we will know more after that.

"We wish him well and a quick recovery because he has been absolutely brilliant for us over the last few weeks."

                      Thats a shame for Anderson.

Now that we've got rid of Pennant (of sorts) I hope Rafa gives the likes of Anderson a go, why buy some squad fodder? same with Voronin and Nemeth. Save the small amounts and multiple crapish signings buy one or two major signings and give theses youngsters a go as backup.

I just hope Blackpool give Nemeth games from the start rather than bring him on as a sub. I can see it being very beneficial to him to get competitive games under his belt.

He's returning from a long injury this season and is quite a way away from match fitness. The reserves won't provide that. This is an interesting move, specially as its just for a month and not the remainder of the whole season.

With Keane looking to be out and Kuyt/Babel clearly not up to the task I think Benitez has backup plans for him......

Let's hope so anyway. Let's also hope the loan deal has a clause where he must play a minimum amount of minutes during the month.

good luck to him. seems a tidy player and he does need the games. loan spells are all too often the beginning of the end though, hope he does come back and gets his chance
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

As others have said the first team experience will do him good, especially when he has just returned from injury.

I hope it works out well for him and he returns to compete for a first team spot.
