After today's scum performance at the Hawthornes, we either win at Wigan or the writing is on the wall for another season without the Prem.

four points minimum from wigan and Chelsea and we are still in it. To early either way to right us off with our usual strong finishes. Depends on whether teams like Man Utd suffer burn out late on or need to rest players so they are fit for Inter etc.......... Same applies to us on the CL front.
      Forwards.......

I hope so; we can't afford to fall behind the scum. To be honest I'm worried about our form. As for the other teams we can only wait and see.

We better win this one, Aston Villa are now level They will definately finish in the top four IMO, they have a good team that plays effective yet simple football.

Three points off the top , best position for years and that's the best comment you can come up with

To be fair, we are really trying our hardest to screw things up, somethings we could have done alot better. Not having a go at Rafa, just voicing my concerns.

I think we need 6 out of 6 in these two games. Utd are on fire at the moment and we need to keep up with them. They already have a game in hand.
Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make them water. It's more useful

I have a few mates that are Villa fans who quite happily admit that they are just going through a little lucky spell. They have been far from great. I wouldn't rule out Arsenal just yet mate.

Drop Mascher (poor form) and play Gerrard and Xabi in CM.

                      Keane just off Torres.
I think Mascher looked a lot better in his last game (I agree he has been out of sorts for a while). I think we should go with the team that played Everton in the FA cup. I'd have Keane on the bench though.

If we press forward in midfield then I think we should do well against Wigan. I'd use Keane in the way Fergie often uses Tevez to add another body to the attack towards the end of the game. In general I feel that Keane-Torres is yet to get going as a partnership and with Keane potentially low on confidence giving him the last 25 minutes or so (when most goals are scored) is the best way to get him back into the flow.

Well that's good, although teams are bound to go through a spell where they are not playing well so for them to still pick up results is quite something, I also have a feeling that Heskey might lift them a bit, we should have gone after him.

I'm sure he said that we were in for him, but he decided to go to Villa for regular games. He'd have only had a few games with us. He could be a regular hero for Villa.

Villa are not playing great but they keep doing enough and keep winning. Personally I think they're a threat to us - we can't bury our heads in the sand and hope they'll go away. They won't, IMO.

If we draw or lose tonight we can forget it. We need to start with purpose and aggression. Gerrard off Torres for me, 4-2-3-1.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

just keep benayoun and lucas on the bench and that'll be fine. maybe babel can come in 80min, when riera will be tired.

i hope keane will score, just keep faith in him!

I hear what you're saying, but i think there's one way and one way only that Keane will succeed at this club, and that is to play virtually all of the remaining games. I know he wont, but if he did, i honestly think he'd find some form soon enough and turn into the player we know he can be.
