To try to look on a slightly brighter side, we managed to kick off a good run with a win over Inter last year after a similarly dire January.

Fingers crossed Chelsea can be this year's catalyst.

If Rafa does go and the armada with him buy some new players and bring on the Keegan/Lee superteam.
[The only reason i say Keegan is i yearn for the old days of decimating teams with flowing attacking football, whens the last time we played without restraint?]
god i hope you are joking about keegan, the man never completes a job.newcastle x2,man city, fulham and england,he didn't even complete his retirement from football.

He's never been at the right club has he? Think about it its the one job he'd really want but hasn,t come anywhere near it.He takes care of the attacking side nd Lee and Hypia take care of the defense match made in heaven.

        Bring back the bootroom

Don't get me wrong, Rafa is screwing up big time. But scum have the financial clout to spend 60 million(correct me if I'm wrong) on Rooney and Rio. We at LFC have to put up with the left overs no elite team would look at. As far as home grown stars are concerned we are sadly lagging behind them as well. Scum paid 15 Million for the "unproven" Ronaldo. Rick Parry would have had a heart attack spending that sort of money.

Just saw the highlights and the pen. Lucas should never play for the club again after doing that! Who puts their leg out when you are 1-0 up and the player is on the far side of the box going nowhere?

You sure? Keane £20m proven and no real financial gain in later times. Rooney however could have been bought from a younger age but no. Scum paid £9m for unproven Ronaldo, we paid £10m for unproven Diouf.

O.K. you made me smile with your sense of humour. K.K. was a great player. But he should've stayed with us instead of going to Hamburg.

So giving your captain a 7 minute rest at the end of the match when it is 1-1 makes sense to you? Because we play Chelski in 4 days? Sorry, I'm not having that, it was a moronic decision, one among many today.

I don't think sparing Gerrard the final 5 minutes will do him that much good against Chelsea.

Our best players should be starting every match. There's 4 days until Chelsea which is about as long a break as you get between games these days. Playing a similar side against Newcastle 2 days after beating Bolton didn't do us much harm.

I don't think Keane was worth 20 Million. He was a goal scorer at Tottenham and they took us for suckers. As for Ronaldo, I was crossing my fingers we could sign him. I was being sarcastic when I said Unproven because he had done great at Porto. Diouf was a debacle we have to thank GH and Parry for. Don't forget 5 Million for Diao!

Moronic? Do you know what the word means? I challenge anyone on this site to try and think of a nasty word to describe tonights events, that sounds so out of context and ridiculous.

Even ridiculous would sound less, well.....ridiculous.

In fact just glancing at this season's results we haven't had a more emphatic set of back to back victories all season which kind of makes a mockery of rotation.
