Sure, there is a lot of pressure on the team at the moment, but that applies to all teams in the Prem, and if anything, the pressure is less as we fall further behind. Today was down to Rafa and Rafa alone. The stunningly average Lucas over Alonso? Give me a ****ing break. The substitutions were, as mentioned earlier, moronic. Rafa was embarrassing tonight.

Rafa should rest his best players for matches against the top 4

while playing the best against the rest of the leagues like how he will always approach the matches against the top 4 !

Then we can definately win the EPL with 33x3 = 99

What the hell is he on about??

        Post Match Press Conference quotes-

        Mirror-

Benitez said: "I feel we have lost two points, we were much better in the first half and had control of the game. The second half was crazy and when it is crazy you can't control things.

"I'm disappointed with things but not Wigan's approach. I don't want to talk about it. It's happened in the last three games, things are happening that I don't like. I know why but I can't say anything.

"The players were OK, they were working hard. But it changed, it's crazy. I told the players what to do on the pitch that there are things you can't control.

"I don’t know what is happening. Actually I do know, but I can’t say anything about it. It is just crazy,
" he told the press after the Wigan game.

"You can’t control what you can’t change. It could be like this for years.

"Alex Ferguson has been here for 22 years and you can see what it means when you have been here for so long.

"The past three games have something in common I don’t like."

Seriously? What is he talking about?

I was wondering the same. It doesn't sound like the boss of old does it!

He had no problem calling Man U players and their manager cheats!
So why can't he say anything now?

            His subs were crazy!

I wish he'd just shut up and get on with his job. No more talk Rafa, head down and work.

                Maybe it's just that...

                Lucas
                Babel
                Yossi (most days)
                Aurelio
                and erm.....Rafa

                Are NOT Prem winning material.

Brilliant finish from Benayoun if anyone remembers.

Yep, it was nicely put to the net although Lucas and Kuyt almost denied it happening by sitting in the bench.

He wants to blame the ref but can't as it would be hypocritical after his rant about Fergies treatment of officials.

Personally i didn't see a huge amount wrong with the ref last night. Wigan were physical, but they shouldn't have been able to get anywhere near us if we hadn't played at a snails pace....yet again.

I thought you were going to say that maybe the Real Madrid game would be the turning point for us. I was just gonna say, i dont think we can really wait another month before getting our **** into gear
