This is a serious discussion and i know everyone cant accept this but i hope this thread will not be locked the 2nd times.

There is something to be said for the argument that we're a better team without him.

Sure, he saves our arse, but when he's not there and people are not waiting for him to save us, maybe we don't need him to save us.

No, this is in no way a "serious discussion", in fact its the complete opposite. The suggestion that somehow we would be better off without our captain, top scorer and best player, not even because a large fee could rebuild the side but by the twisted logic that he "has saved us too many times", is just utterly ridiculous, and either a piss poor attempt at a wind-up, or even if not, inevitably it will be seen as such by the vast majority and get thoroughly flammed. Such a thread would go that way on any lfc forum on the net which was silly enough to allow it to stay open, which this site is not going to do.

Oh, and if a mod locks a thread once you can damn well bet it'll be locked a second time if you repost it. This site's rules are very clear on what to do if you have an issue with a moderating decision, and this is not it.
