    After a result like tonights...

...how long does it take you to get back to feeling 'normal'?

I was absolutely livid at full time - the penalty, the tactics, the substitutions and general despair at the way things have gone since Christmas.

Having a rant on here helps a bit; public grieving if you like but shortly I'll be off to bed to stick a dvd on and try to forget.

Tomorrow I'll be in a mood when the radio news wakes me up at half 6 and I'll avoid even glancing at the Metro when I get on the bus. It'll be earphones in and very little human interaction tomorrow until maybe lunchtime when I might feel ready to face the world again.

Lucas, the things you do to me

      I'm fine.

The title was gone when Everton equallised.

Little human interaction especially with spastic looking Manc fans for a few days. I thought the title race was over against Stoke and I couldn't have been more further away from the truth. The next win, so thats next season, I will get over it. And when Benitez goes.

I've been a new Dad for two and a half weeks. I was totally livid when they scored, livid at the end and desolate for about half an hour. Then I had a cuddle with the little un and I felt better. It's amazing. When you look at the contented little face of a two week old baby, football and all the bollocks that goes with it isn't that important.

Naturally if we were 10 points clear it'd be the most important thing in the world.

Having said that when I think about things I am totally mortified still, although I agree with Jamo - the killer blow was Cahill's goal IMO.

Of course we may still go on and win it but I'd bet anyone we ****ing won't. Pains me to say it but we're not the best team in the league.

It pains me even more to see United beat everyone without sweating and us struggling and getting draws.

                I don't think we'll end up 2nd or 3rd best.

It's going to take awhile to get over this.

My predominant feeling is anger against Rafa. I'm a big fan but holy **** he seems to have lost the plot, big time.

How are mum and baby doing? Keeping you fairly busy by the sound of things coupled of course with the sharp decrease in posting rate

Rafa's substitutions felt like a slap across my face. 3 huge slaps.

Someone i knew died in nasty circumstances a few months back which has changed my outlook on life in a major way hence i dont get as angry now when we **** up like tonight.
I still slammed a few doors and kicked the **** out of my football out the back for ten minutes but i'm starting to accept painful nights like tonight.

I told her she'd be hearing from my solicitors - Shanks & Paisley.
In bed now and starting to get a grip.

                          Always next season, eh?
