    Time to zip it

    Rafa is apparently annoyed about the challenges we received last night. He's refusing to expand on it but according to bbc its to do with challenges that gerrard took from brown.

    What next, opposing fans too loud?

    He's coming across as a man who's lost faith and is looking for any old excuse to mask yet another setback.

    I have no problem with any team being overly physical. Its their choice. You'd hope we'd have enough class to pass it round them. For the record I haven't seen a game this season that I thought was overtly physical. Its the same ****e Wenger comes out with. Its England, get used to it, its part of our game that so many love.

    He was probably just pissed off with the result because he cares as much as we do mate. I'd wager that many of us weren't talking much sense after the final whistle last night.

          he's built a soft team full of players who dont like the rough stuff and then complains that his players get battered by aggresive tackles.

          everybody knows we dont like the rough stuff and cant mix our game up to compete with the likes of hull and wigan.

          the fact that we get outbattled in most games is bad, but our manager bitching about it is even worse.

            I think that's completely wrong.

            We can mix the physical stuff as much as anyone can. Mascher, Skrtel, Gerrard, Carra, Torres are no soft touches and we try as hard as any team. The problem we've had is that when teams 'park the bus' we struggle to play through it so I think a lack of guile would be a fairer comment.

              FFS people are just finding anything to attack Rafa and the team with now. Until he comes out and actually says it you are just basing these attacks on some BBC guesswork.

                Rafa actually referred to it in the aftermatch interview.

                Plus you can throw in the claim about Everton being too negative. Rafa should say nothing on how other teams go about their game. He should look at his record against Steve Bruce's teams instead.

                    Pretty much what all of the top 4 managers say. We have heard it from Wenger and Fergi already this season, nothing really all that new here.

                      i agree. do your talking on the pitch and stop moaning.

                      focus on our team finishing the countless fooking chances they make. if that means getting all of our strikers in every afternoon working on finishing and 'putting it in the net first and considering options later' then so be it.

                      back to basics, we are **** at finishing so we need to improve that. its glaringly obvious.

                          the team of 2005 might have been ****e but they outfought teams and landed up winning no.5 the team of 2009 is far superior in every way bar their fighting spirit( notable exceptions would include carragher,alonso,gerrard)

                            And some are trying to find ANY alternative explanation but the one that seems most likely.

                            Never mind what he said, what he meant or anything else. If people want to find something to criticise Rafa with, our recent results are there in black and white. Nothing else is needed.
