Bad decision indeed. Aldo should've decided to put the ball in the other corner at that penalty kick.

I think it was posted on here a while back maybe someone else has it to hand or knows were it is. I didnt have that impression myself before I read it, but that is mostly down to only remembering his subs when we drop points. When we have won due to his subs it really is never brought up by anyone and I am normally to happy to care.
Its like rotation it only ever crops up when we drop points even though we do it all the time.

Worst desicion ever made? Are you having a laugh?
I think it's easier for me as an "foreign" LFC fan - as opposite to "local" - to see Steven Gerrard as "just another midfielder". I even sometimes come to the conclusion that he is overrated.
Albeit our most influential, inspirational and clinical player on his day, I think on some of his off-days he deserves a substitution just as anybody else. Who knows, he might even benefit as a player by few more of those subs when he's sulking and not performing on the field.

So what he was tired, you think he was full of energy in the FA Cup final?

One swing of that right boot can win us the game. We had no attacking threat when he went off.

          Shocking decision

Save him at 2 - 0 up by all means. Not when we're drawing.

            Are you mad? Absolutely crazy?

Add up the amount of points Gerrard has won us this season itself, you could be in for a shock. We wouldn't even be anywere near the top 4 if it wasn't for him this season. Especially with no Torres.

7 minutes to go, needing a goal with no Torres? You ask any fan in the league who they would want on the pitch if they needed a goal in that situation, I GUARENTEE you Gerrard would be in the top 3.

He doesn't have a habit or anything of scoring vital goals or goals in the last few minutes of games does he

I didn't say I agreed with it, but I haven't seen or heard a single person mention that it could have been a factor, and I suspect that it was and that Rafa thinks we should still be able to beat Wigan using other players in the squad, also fear of unnecessary injury through tiredness and hadn't Brown been kicking lumps out of him?
