Striking options - or lack of

If Keane leaves for Spurs and Nemeth has gone out on loan god help us if Torres gets injured. We will be led by the mighty Kurt and Ngog strikeforce. I dont believe Rafa would allow this so he must have something going on in the background.

It is a real worry. I have in the past felt we needed to add a targetman type option rather than reducing our strike options.

Really though, the more I think about it the more annoyed I am that we missed out on him.

He did a good job on his debut, and obviously got the winning goal.....

No chance. If Keane goes, someone else will come in.

Isn't Ryan Babel a striker being played out of position?

I'm going to make the most left field suggestion of the day - Dave Kitson.

He's out of favour at Stoke and would be cheap at least.

That's left field enough to make Tony Benn a Nazi

It's certainly left field DWW - even though he's only 17 give Lauri Dalla Valle chance he certainly knows where the back of the net is!!

I think that is an even further left field suggestion!!!

                            You and Dave Kitson....

Is he not injured though? Although they've signed the Red Adair for relegation-threatened clubs, Henri Camara...following Beattie. If he's not out of favour now, he probably will be. Hasn't scored a single goal for them, record signing too. I know we've discussed him often but I thought he looked a very tidy player for Reading. I'd be horrified if we signed him though.
