May 24, 2009, the inevitable scenario...

Liverpool at home to Tottenham on the last day of the season. Keane scores to give Utd. the title.

    You heard it here first.

Why would he do that? He'd get a winner's medal if we win it, so he'd deliberately spoon his chance over the bar.

Actually he'd try a fancy flick. And miss. Obviously.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I'd like to think we'd put in a clause that he couldnt play against us this season.

But then i remember that Krusty's doing the negotiating.

Gentleman's agreement then...Keane will have a niggling injury last day of the season, unless spurs are relegation threatened.

Ok then, an unofficial gentleman's agreement. Either spurs dont play him against us, or we shop Harry and his dodgy unlicensed market stall to the authorities.

I can't see Defoe/Keane lighting up the PL....Keane/Pavlyunchenko perhaps...but perhaps Berbatov made him look good....

As an aside, didn't we play Spurs on last day of the season last time we won the title?

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Actually, this is just emotion management. Disappointment is a function of expectation. I try to lower the latter so that I can deal with the former, all the while hoping for a positive outcome. Which is to say that actually, for me, this is pretty positive.... and somehow, I manage to go on....
