    High Praise Indeed.

    I often wonder what the competition thinks of our squad. Check this out from r e d c a f e. Kindda makes me feel good about things.

    Likely to both become top centre backs, I'm sure we can all agree? And if they do keep them both there for another year, which I'm not sure they will, it's likely that they'll start to form a partnership which could last for years as one that is up there with the best in the world IMO.

    Agger the one who builds attacks from the back, something I think that is very unappreciated because almost every top attacking team has that type of player at the back.

    Skrtel the one who can act like a one man defence at times, a mix of Rio and Vidic for me, seeing as he has more pace but less physical strength or aerial ability than Vidic.

    Both signed for £12.5m combined, which is fantastic business.

    But who's the better player?

    For my money it's Skrtel, and that is taking into account Agger's ability on the ball. I think he's just going to grow in stature over the next year. He rarely has a bad game, whereas Agger still has that tendency to, and he just has more of an air of solidity about him.""

    I agree with this poster. Mark my words, Skrtel is gonna be a one of the best in Europe soon.

        Dont think Rafa trusts them together just yet, and Carra is showing hardly any signs of slowing down.

            thats deffo written by a liverpool fan, i would never talk about there players like that. Although Ronaldo is the best player in the world, i still think he's **** just because he plays for them

              Skrtel and Agger wrote it but the last bit was cheekily added in by Skrtel while Agger was taking a phone call.

                Well whoever wrote it he/she got one thing spot on, "Both signed for £12.5m combined, which is fantastic business".

                The magnitude of these signings should we be able to keep them both could be massive for the future of LFC, things like this make me more sure than ever that whatever happens this season we need Rafa here for 2 more seasons at-least.

                Then we assess how things have gone are going, and take into consideration everything, strength of opposition, have City by then done enough to be Challengers etc, Villa also, look at the whole picture, then we take it from there. imo.

                I shudder when i think we could have lost Agger to Milan at such a young age, a devastating blow it would have been for the future for me, we find players like this few and far between, so to even think of selling him was well...Idiotic.

                  That's just silly. There are still some fans in the world who arent daft enough to think it lessens the strength of their support to admit qualities in rival teams' players.

                          Exactly, although it'd be difficult to praise Ronaldo without getting a dig in somewhere. Giggs less so I guess. Tevez for example; cant really say anything bad about him but could spend hours on the majority of em!
